Level G - Apostrophes

Here you will find our selection of printable third grade books.
In this level we will concentrate on Apostrophes.
An apostrophe is a punctuation mark, or a diacritical mark, which is often used in the English language.
In the English language, the apostrophe serves 3 purposes:

– To denote missing letters (Examples: Do not, Don’t)
– To denote possession, the possessive apostrophe (Examples: The cat’s hair, The man’s hat)
– To denote certain plurals (Examples: P’s, D’s)

With these books, your child will easily learn all the apostrophe rules he/she needs to know.

Besides the focus on the apostrophe, this level will also include all the parts of the English language we have introduced in previous levels.
